Basuki Is Satisfied with Echelon-II Performance

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama, acknowledged he was satisfied with performance of echelon-II official. Even he will not replace them, until they retire.

"Honestly our position is getting better. Sometimes, I am confused who will deserve to be replaced. So far the performance is good," he disclosed, on the sidelines of executive meeting (rapim), at City Hall, Monday (6/6).

He disclosed, if the official can still be maintain their performance, he will not conduct reshuffle.

Echelon-II Offical Must Draw Up Its Own Budget

"We do not reshuffle echelon-II official lately. They can continue until they retire," he uttered.

Basuki added, problem that often faced and became the weakness of regional working unit (SKPD) head is about land purchase. One of the highlights is Head of Jakarta Park and Cemetery Dept, Diah Ratna Kurniati.

"The problem until now is land purchase by Park Dept. They cannot acquire many lands. If it is through a broker, they did it," he closed.
